Nuova Simonelli has launched the Nuova Aurelia professional espresso machine, the newest addition to the Aurelia product range.
According to Nuova Simonelli, the machine allows for every step of the preparation process of any beverage to be automated and altered to achieve the desired standards of the user.
Its Machine-Grinder Communication technology allows users to store recipes directly into the portafilter. Both the machine and the grinder can then recognise the portafilter and automatically dispense the dose of ground coffee and the correct recipe into the cup.
For automatic adjustments, the grinder and the machine can share data via Bluetooth, which can also provide feedback to the barista to ensure consistency.
The Nuova Aurelia also features an electronic steam knob, which replaces the push and pull leavers in place before. The steam knob, which incorporates the electronic control of the steam itself, is made of aluminium and further simplifies and speeds up the operation.
Through the new machine, Nuova Simonelli will unveil the new milk technology ‘E-Milk’ that it hopes will automate and simplify the barista’s work. E-Milk technology provides automatic frothing of milk or plant-based drinks at the temperature and with the dose of cream as specified in the recipe.
The E-Milk technology will also include wand position and milk presence sensors, which the company hopes will not only speed up workflow but also automatically carry out the cleaning procedures to ensure durability of the machine.
The Nuova Aurelia will be capable of producing an extensive menu of drinks with boosted automation and an increased focus on sustainability.
The Nuova Aurelia will be on display at Host Milano at the Nuova Simonelli stand at Hall 24, booth B23-D24.
