Probat has announced coffee industry expert Nils Erichsen as the new chairman of its advisory board, following the sudden death of longtime chairman Dr. Gerd Müller-Brockhausen in June, 2020. Dr. Müller-Brockhausen’s son Michael Müller-Brockhausen has taken over his seat on the advisory board.
Probat calls the passing of Dr. Gerd Müller-Brockhausen a significant turning point for the company. Müller-Brockhausen was active on the company‘s advisory board for almost 40 years, spearheading it as its chairman for the past seven years.
With his succession as new member, Dr. Michael Müller-Brockhausen now heralds the next generation in the consulting committee of the machine manufacturer from the Lower Rhine area in German. Dr. Stephan Feldhaus completes the advisory board.
Wim Abbing, Managing Partner of Probat, gratefully looks back on the long-standing support by Müller-Brockhausen and expresses his great expectations on the cooperation: “For Dr. Gerd Müller-Brockhausen, the company was always at the forefront of his considerations, which is why we were able to develop the company so successfully together with him. Now I am especially looking forward to working with the next shareholder generation which already possesses a profound knowledge of our company. Along with the proven industry expertise of the advisory board colleagues, this body will continue to be an important advising support also in the future.”
