German roaster manufacturer Probat is launching a popup roastery in conjunction with the Specialty Coffee Association's World of Coffee event in Berlin, Germany, from 5 to 7 June. Taking place in Berlin Mitte in the Secret Garden, a former theatre reminiscent of the 1920s, the Probat popup roastery will provide a number of hands on roasting sessions. On Wednesday 5 June Australian barista Matt Perger of Barista Hustle (BH) will discuss BH Coaching. On Friday 7 one of Germany’s leading specialty coffee experts, Ralf Rüller of The Barn, will host a roasting session, and each day Prabat’s Jörg Vogel will disucss how to maintain rosters rights. Probat has been roasting coffee plants and developing machinery for more than 150 years, operating in more than 40 countries.
