PROBAT receives Best Managed Companies Award for third year in a row

PROBAT

Coffee roasting technology manufacturer PROBAT has won a Best Managed Companies Award for the third year in a row, presented on 25 May at the Classic Remise in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The core competencies of Strategy, Productivity and Innovation, Culture and Commitment, and Governance and Finance are the four cornerstones of the evaluation framework of the Best Managed Companies Award. This year PROBAT received the award for outstanding corporate governance for its ambitious customer-first strategy and measures to increase productivity.

“Receiving the Best Managed Companies Award again shows us that the course we have taken within the guidelines of our corporate strategy is the right one to realize our vision in the long term,” says Wim Abbing, President and CEO of PROBAT.

“Our new, ultra-modern production facility puts us in a position to implement even the most demanding projects. In addition, it is already apparent that the even more consistent customer-focused realignment of our entire process landscape will be instrumental in ensuring that, in the long term, anyone with a question about roasting and processing coffee will ask PROBAT first.”

The award is a seal of approval for excellently managed medium-sized companies. This special accolade is presented by Deloitte, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and Credit Suisse in cooperation with the Federation of German Industries.

“Best Managed Companies like PROBAT are a strong and supporting pillar of our economy. They are drivers of innovation and at the same time ‘keepers of the flame’ in the sense of a sustainably oriented corporate management. Such strong companies think in generations and not in quarters, which is why they deserve an award,” says Markus Seiz, Best Managed Company Program Leader and Director at Deloitte Private.
