The Probat showroom, with its extensive range of cutting-edge roasting technology, will once again draw organisers and participants of the German Roasting Championship to the Lower Rhine area. This is the second year in a row that Probat will be playing host to the German Coffee Roasting Championship, which is set to be held from 5-7 October. “At Probat the technical requirements for grading, roasting and tasting of the coffees under competitive conditions are just ideal”, says Patricia Nabitz from the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe’s (SCAE) German Chapter. Jens Roelofs, head of the shoproaster department at Probat, attaches great importance to providing the competitors with an ideal environment. “Next to the extensive technical equipment in our showroom and research and development facilities, the Probat shoproaster team with their profound expertise will be at participants` disposal throughout the whole event,” he says. “Therefore we create the perfect ground for a successful championship. We wish all competitors good luck and are really excited about who will come first eventually. The top three competitors will be awarded with trophies handcrafted by Probat especially for the German Roasting Championship.”
