Registration for the World of Coffee expo in Busan, South Korea, is now open.
Taking place from 1 to 4 May, the event will bring together coffee enthusiasts from around the world for an immersive coffee experience – and to crown the World Barista Champion 2024.
The four-day expo centres around its exhibition hall, in which coffee brands, equipment manufacturers, and specialty suppliers will share their latest products and connect with attendees. The pinnacle of the event, however, will be crowning the world’s best barista in the World Barista Championship 2024.
The Roaster Village at the expo serves as a key meeting point for attendees to engage with roasters and green coffee importers, who will gather to share the latest trends in coffee sourcing, roasting, and distribution.
Attendees can also book a session in the expo’s Cupping Exchange, which provides producers, exporters and coffee roasters a dedicated space to cup and sample their coffees.
The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) will be hosting a series of lectures throughout World of Coffee Busan, which will examine key issues affecting the industry.
The event in Busan will be the SCA’s second of three World of Coffee events this year. World of Coffee Dubai took place in January, while World of Coffee Copenhagen will round off the series from 27 to 29 June.
World of Coffee Busan is hosted by the Busan Metropolitan City Specialty Coffee Association.
