Registration is open for the 2019 Specialty Coffee Expo, taking place in Boston, United States from 11 to 14 April. More than 500 exhibitors will attend the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) event, including roasters, grower groups, equipment manufacturers, and auxiliary suppliers. The expo will feature lectures from industry experts, educational opportunities through the SCA’s Coffee Skills Program, a home brewer display, design lab, roaster village, and scientific poster session. A Best New Product award will also be presented at the event. The 2019 World Barista Championship will also be held at the event. Each year, more than 50 national champions compete in the world championship, preparing four espressos, milk drinks, and original signature drinks in a 15-minute performance set to music.
