Hemro-Group will feature the world's top two baristas at its stall during the 2013 Host exhibition in Milan, taking place from 18 – 22 October. The baristas will be providing demonstrations on Hemro-Group brands of coffee grinding solutions, including Mahlkönig, Ditting and Anfim. Matthew Perger is the 2012 World Brewers Cup Champion and runner-up at this year's World Barista Championship (WBC) in Melbourne. Perger gained special attention at the WBC using an EK 43 – a classic shop grinder – for his performance. He will reveal exactly how he was able to achieve top results with this grinder on Saturday 19 October from 11am – 2pm at the Host event. The following day, on Sunday 20 October, reigning WBC Champion Pete Licata will present his champion grinder, the K30 Twin, and divulge the secrets and subtleties of this classic grinder. “For lovers of the perfect coffee these are two unmissable dates that you have to mark in your calendar,” said Carten Reinke, Chief Marketing and Sales Office of the Hemro-Group, in a statement. In addition to these events, the Hemro-Group will present visitors with the sophisticated, user-friendly innovations from the brands Mahlkönig, Ditting and Anfim. This will include a new addition to the K30 family, which in the future will offer innovative port-a-filter detection, making it unnecessary to choose the portion size. The latest development from Ditting is an 804 with an interactive display, a self-service shop grinder and that guarantees the best grinding results for all types of coffee. The grinder features a barcode scanner where the customer can scan the coffee bag and the grinder automatically presets the grind degree to achieve the perfect grinding. Then the customer simply selects the type of preparation and the grinding process begins. Visitors to Host can check out these latest developments at the Hemro-Group stand T40/U39, hall 11.
