World Coffee Events (WCE) is introducing Re:verb to the International Coffee Week tradeshow in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on 26 September. The one day event will feature a line up of international speakers each discussing their different experiences in the specialty coffee industry. The speakers will consider the events three themes, which are consumer experience within a specialty environment, the creation of a space, and the building of a coffee community. Host Isabela Raposeiras, Owner of Coffee Lab in Sao Paulo, Brazil, will moderate discussion panels with the guests. Re:verb will give the audience the chance to interact with the speakers, to discuss their ideas, and to examine their own impact and influence within specialty coffee. “The Re:verb program shares the perspectives of professionals in the industry and encourages more ties and interaction with coffee communities around the world,” said WCE Managing Director, Cynthia Ludviksen, in a statement. The speakers include Kyle Glanville, Co-Founder of G&B Coffee and Go Get ‘Em Tiger in Los Angeles, Asli Yaman, Director of Coffee at Soyuz Coffee Roasting in Istanbul, Stephen Morrissey, Advisory Board of WCE in Chicago, and Michael Salvatore, Owner of Heritage Bicycles in Chicago. Another international jury will be making their way to the world's biggest producer in just over a month, when the Cup of Excellence decide on the winning Brazilian Pulped Naturals from 13 – 17 October.
