The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Barista Guild will host 2019’s Barista Camp Europes from 10 to 13 September in Anavissos, Greece. Barista Camp is a three-day educational event for baristas of all levels of experience and skill. The educational core of Barista Camp is based on SCA’s Coffee Skills Program, with optional certification. In addition to these training sessions, Barista Camp offers activities, lectures, and tastings. A resort setting and social activities in the evenings help baristas relax and connect with new friends from all over Europe. The SCA says the event will also provide educational content through lectures and tastings, opportunity to test the industry’s most advanced coffee machines and tools, and a chance to meet and connect with peers, teachers, and potential mentors.
