Access, a Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Barista Guild event aimed at guild members and coffee professionals interested in growing their careers, will take place from 17 to 19 September in San Diego, California. The Barista Guild says Access offers a range of professional development opportunities including hands-on workshops, tastings, and lectures, along with opportunities for community building and networking. Lectures include Effective Communication for Café Leaders, Let’s Talk About the Price Crisis with Ever Meister of Café Imports, Baristastainability with Hana Kaneshige, and Equitable Hiring, Training, and Employee Support Practices with Camila Coddou. The program can be divided into three categories:
1. Education: Unique workshops, lectures and discussion opportunities will provide unparalleled education and professional development for baristas and coffee professionals of all levels.
