SCA Expo to take place next week in Boston

Expo

Specialty coffee professionals, exhibitors, and barista competitors will descend on Boston from 8 to 10 April for the 2022 Specialty Coffee Expo.

Preceding the Expo is the Re:co Symposium, taking place from 6 and 7 April at the Westin Boston Seafront. Re:co will address the most pressing topics facing the industry, with expert speakers, sensory experiences, live discussion, networking, and engagement opportunities.

The Expo, North America’s largest specialty coffee trade show, will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 400 exhibitors will showcase their innovative products and services and compete for the show’s Best New Product and Coffee Design Awards.

On the show floor, visitors can network with professionals from across the industry, including producers, importers, and baristas at the Tasting and Cupping Rooms, and hear from coffee researchers in the Scientific Poster Session.

Visitors can also meet coffee roasters from around the globe in the Roaster Village and Roaster Market, located near the United States Coffee Championships arena in the activities hall. There, coffee professionals from across the US will compete in national Cup Tasters, Coffee in Good Spirits, Roaster, Barista, Latte Art, and Brewers Cup Championships.

Industry experts will also be hosting an array of lectures, as well as workshops and courses from the Specialty Coffee Association’s educational programs.

The SCA says creating a safe experience during Expo this year is its main priority.

Ticket registration for the Expo and Re:co Symposium are still open.
