Specialty Coffee Association's flagship event returns to Seattle from 19 – 22 April. The three-day expo allows attendees to learn, sip and network their way through more than 400 exhibitor booths, the US Coffee Championships events, special exhibits and more. Some of the notable featured events are the Design Lab, where visitors can explore the best in café, packaging and vessel design; Roaster Village, highlighting coffees produced and roasted by some of the best in the industry; and Uppers + Downers, offering craft beers brewed with specialty coffee. Also at the expo will be the Best New Product Competition & Display, showcasing the year's most innovative new products; a Scientific Poster Session; and the popular US Coffee Championships. Education programs include the SCA Coffee Skills Program, where visitors can earn credits on classes on Introduction to Coffee, Barista Skills, Brewing, Green Coffee, Sensory Skills, or Roasting. Three-hour, not-for-credit workshops will dive deep into specialty coffee topics, and respected industry experts will lecture on topics that inspire, educate and motivate the coffee community.
