Bloom, a Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Barista Guild event aimed at generating dialogue and sharing knowledge, will take place in four cities across the United States in June. The SCA says Bloom attendees can expect a program of speakers and panels focused on topics relevant to the craft coffee community. An interactive discussion between speaker and attendees follow each talk, creating an opportunity for meaningful dialogue. More than 20 speakers have been confirmed across four cities, including Adam JacksonBey in Washington DC, Michelle Johnson in Los Angeles, Eugene Kim in Salt Lake City, and Diana Mnatsakanyan-Sapp in Atlanta. Speakers visiting all four locations will include Erika Vonie, Coffee Master New York 2017; Chad Robertson, Co-founder of Tartine Bakery and Coffee Manufactory; and Chris Jordan, Chief Operating Officer of Tartine Bakery's roasting arm and Califia’s coffee roasting partner company, Coffee Manufactory in San Francisco. Bloom will visit: Counter Culture Coffee in Atlanta, Georgia, on 17 June, Small Planes Roastery in Washington, DC, on 19 June, Campos Coffee in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 24 June, and Coffee Manufactory in Los Angeles, California, on 26 June. This program will be complemented by community-oriented talks and panels unique to each of the four cities on the tour, with more speakers and panellists to be announced.
