Second installment of Colombian Coffee Hub online lecture series scheduled for June

The Colombian Coffee Hub (CCH) will host a lecture by Dr Alvaro Gaitan titled Impact of Climate Change on Coffee Production: Coffee Diseases on 20 June. The online lecture is the second in the CCH’s series of online lectures about the different factors impacting on coffee production, following on from the session about altitude, temperature and climate held in May. Dr Alvaro Gaitan is a microbioligist with a PhD in plant pathology, and is the Head of Plant Pathology Department at the Colombian National Coffee Research Centre (Cenicafe). The lecture will be held at 11.30am, Colombian time on 20 June, and can be viewed at www.colombiancoffeehub.com.
