Starbucks and Nestlé have announced the first range of Starbucks by Nespresso coffee capsules, launching in the United States in May.  This is the first product Starbucks and Nestlé have jointly developed since the companies formed the Global Coffee Alliance in August 2018. “Starbucks by Nespresso is a product that we have been very excited about since the formation of the Global Coffee Alliance,” says Tony Matta, President of Nestlé Starbucks Coffee. “Within this partnership, we are constantly searching for ways to elevate the at-home experience, and Starbucks by Nespresso is the perfect way to bring a new, exciting coffee experience into the homes of our customers.” Each capsule varies in flavour, is made of aluminium, and are recyclable as a part of the Nespresso recycling program. Nestlé says the Starbucks Espresso Roast has rich caramelly notes, Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast has a classic espresso flavour, Starbucks Single-Origin Colombia Coffee has a round body with a nutty finish, and Starbucks Pike Place Roast has hints of chocolate and toasted nut notes. Starbucks by Nespresso capsules prices will vary depending on retailer and will be available through Amazaon, Walmart, and Jet. Established in 1971, Starbucks operates in more than 30,000 stores globally.
