Starbucks to open six cafés in Disney theme parks

Starbucks Coffee Company will open the first of six cafés in Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in June. The announcement on 23 April will soon see Starbucks available at all Disney and Disneyland locations in Anaheim, Calif and Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The first Starbucks café in the chain of new stores will open at Disney California Adventure. Starbucks baristas will wear 1920’s Los Angeles inspired attire and will be located in the Fidder, Fifer and Practical buildings on Buena Vista Street. “Starbucks and Disney have many things in common,” says Arthur Rubinfeld, President and Global Development for Starbucks. “We share a passion for providing excellent customer service…ensuring that every experience with our brand exceeds our customers expectations.” Additional stores are planned for Disneyland Park and Walt Disney World Resort including offside locations; Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The cafés will serve Starbucks items including coffee and espresso beverages, frappuccinos and signature breakfast sandwiches and pastries.
