The Sowden SoftBrew coffee filter

The SoftBrew filter keeps the ground beans separated from the brewed coffee through thousands of microscopic holes that allow the water to flow gently and take up the taste. The filter allows some ‘fines’ into the brew which gives good body and mouth feel. A user simply places the filter into the porcelain pot, puts the ground coffee into the filter and pours over hot water at the temperature of their choice. The grounds are not squeezed as with a French press and not excessively filtered as can happen with paper filter systems – the extraction is natural. The SoftBrew creates no waste other than the used beans – no filters or pods. The filter is simple to clean. For more information visit  www.sowden.co
