Tickets on sale for Global Coffee Sustainability Conference 2018

Tickets are now available for the Global Coffee Sustainability Conference (GCSC) 2018, to be held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil from 8 – 10 November as part of International Coffee Week. GCSC is an event convening national, international, public, and private sector stakeholders to join or create local action initiatives that lead to real, measurable impact on the livelihoods of coffee farming families. The event presents an opportunity to discover a clear agenda to guide sustainability investments and activities, learn the latest developments in coffee sustainability, and strengthen existing or establish new business partnerships. The first day will include a panel with leaders of sustainability partnerships on how to achieve greater impact; innovation sessions about investments, impact measurement and generational takeover; and opportunities to gain insights from coffee platforms in major producing countries addressing key sustainability challenges. The second day will include a Local Action Forum to discover new opportunities for collaboration and an opportunity to exchange ideas. The final day will consist of Country Platform Exchange learning and development workshop on driving local action. Following the conference, Global Coffee Platform (GCP) will organise field trips to a model farm in Três Pontas, where sustainability is applied at high standards, and a coffee cooperative in Paraguaçu, which incorporates the GCP Sustainability Curriculum. GCP will soon launch an app to connect coffee sustainability experts in preparation for the event. Early bird prices are available until 21 September. To purchase tickets, click here.
