Organisers of the Global Coffee Review Leaders Symposium announced that tickets are selling fast for the executive-level event, taking place on 5 March 2014. The symposium will take place one day before the Cafe Asia/ICT Expo event, from 6-8 March also at Marina Bay Sands. The news came alongside the announcement of additional speakers for the event. A highlight of the day will be the Indonesia Country Manager for the 4C Association Wahyu Wibowo, who will discuss the sustainability of the coffee industry in the state of current coffee prices. Other regional leaders set to present at the event include Ryan Tan, who owns the Strangers Group of Businesses in Singapore. As the three-time Singapore Barista Champion, Ryan will discuss his work in bringing his specialty coffee expertise into an emerging coffee nation. Toby Strong, Founder and Managing Director of Australian-based PodPac, is also a new addition to the event, discussing regional trends and challenges in producing compatible capsules.
