One of Canada’s leading coffee retailers, Tim Hortons, is set to roll out a string of new restaurants in the UK. The company, which specialises in coffee and donuts, is set to begin operating in the UK in 2017. Tim Hortons was bought by fast food giant Burger King in 2014 and already has stores in the Middle East. The company has not stated how many stores it plans to open in the UK, however Daniel Schwartz, who is the CEO of Tim Hortons’ parent company, Restaurant Brands, has said that the company’s plans are “quite ambitious”. The company also has plans to open stores in the Phillippines.
