Korean coffee franchise Tom N Toms is building a US$100 million coffee-themed resort park in South Korea’s Gangwon Province. The Tom N Toms coffee theme park is expected to create 1000 new jobs in the South Korean coffee industry, according to local news source Bizwire. According to Bizwire, the theme park will fit within a 64-acre site in the Southern Chuncheon industrial complex. The coffee-lovers fantasyland will serve as a major roasting, packaging and distribution facility for Tom N Toms. Tom N Toms first store opened in ApGuJeong-Dong in 2001 and it has since expanded to more than 400 retail locations in South Korea. The company also has franchises in Australia, Singapore, Thailand and the US.
