Joshua Tarlo will bring a taste of the Toronto coffee scene to the World Brewers Cup Championship. Tarlo, from the Toronto-based specialty coffee house Lit Espresso Bar, won the Canadian Brewers Cup Championship in April. He used Kemgin beans grown in Oromia, Ethiopia, and roasted at Pig Iron Coffee Roasters in Mississauga, Ontario. He will now travel to Melbourne to compete in the world championship, which is being held as part of the Melbourne International Coffee Expo from 23 – 26 May.
