Beyond the Bean will launch in Australia at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo, taking place from 23 – 26 May 2013 at the Melbourne Showgrounds. Beyond the Bean are currently based in the UK, with an office in the US. Today, the company exports to over 40 countries worldwide. Beyond the Bean Australia will be run by Kate and Jeremy Regan, who both have experience in cafés and retailing “We both wanted to stay within the coffee industry when we came home; coffee people really are passionate about what they do, which makes going to work that much more interesting,” says Jeremy. “We’ve known the guys at Beyond the Bean for years now and have always really loved what they do.” Beyond the Bean will bring to Australia the Sweetbird range of smoothies, syrups and sauces. Sweetbird avoids artificial ingredients, and 99 per cent of the range is approved for both vegetarian and vegan diets.
