Union Hand-Roasted Coffee's Jeremy Torz and Steven Macatonia will feature a vintage San Francisco roaster at the London Coffee Festival from 25 – 28 April. The pair will aim to recreate the atmosphere of their East London roastery. The pop-up will showcase how they hand-roast their coffee every day in small batches, and share secrets on brewing coffee. The Union Pop-up Roastery will have three ‘flavour stations’ that highlight the roasting, brewing and tasting process. At the roasting flavour station, visitors will learn how professional roasters judge the timing and temperature to draw out the flavour notes of each bean. Visitors will also be able to meet the company's barista team, as they brew with the V60, aeropress and siphon. Union Hand-Roasted Coffee will also be sponsoring the Best Newcomer category in the UK Barista Championships 2013. The winner of this category will win an all expenses paid trip to origin. Industry visitors can register for free tickets to the two trade days of the London Coffee Festival using the registration code 1NDLCF or via this link: http://www.londoncoffeefestival.com/registerindustryday.aspx?rc=1NDLCF
