Victoria Arduino has revealed its latest espresso machine, the “versatile and eclectic” one-group Eagle One Prima.
The manufacturer says the professional espresso machine was created to “enjoy and offer the best coffee experience whenever and wherever you want”.
It’s named ‘Prima’ because Victoria Arduino believe it is the ‘first’ step towards a new frontier and will overcome many boundaries. The machine is designed for baristas planning their own coffee business, roasters that would like to search for and offer a serene coffee experience for their clients, and professionals or enthusiasts that desire a high-quality espresso at home.
“The type of coffee consumed is changing,” says Marco Feliziani, Vice President and Sales Director of Simonelli Group, owner of the Victoria Arduino brand.
“Specialty products are more requested, prepared with high-quality ‘gourmet’ prime materials produced ethically and sustainably. Quality coffee is becoming a real lifestyle where people search for an exclusive coffee experience even outside the coffee shop, like food trucks, boutiques, offices, homes, and many other settings. Prima can interpret the current trends and envision the future more than any other Victoria Arduino machine on the market.”
Victoria Arduino says Eagle One Prima opens to a new way of living and perceiving the coffee experience, and never before has one of its machines been so flexible and adaptable.
Prima can be transformed based on the environment and spaces it sits in, but it can also change seasonally by modifying its looks and adding fresh new colors and textures that interpret the current trends.
Like in the Eagle One machine, Prima by Victoria Arduino offers a sustainable alternative that considers the machine's environmental impact in terms of economic and energy savings.
Prima incorporates New Engine Optimization (NEO) technology that represents a totally new approach the heating water for coffee extraction using less energy.
“NEO technology uses an instant heating system that requires less volume and smaller boilers because only the needed water is heated,” says Lauro Fioretti, Product Manager of Simonelli Group.
“Thanks to this technology, Prima can quickly heat the water and guarantee high performance while increasing energy efficiency. The boiler’s size is significantly reduced and covered with innovative insulating material, so any possible energy dispersions are avoided. This way, Prima is ready to run in only eight minutes.”
Everything has been designed to be more compact, more performant, and more sustainable.
“The stainless-steel boilers maintain higher pressure levels that allow a greater dry and saturated steam production with an elevated power/speed ratio to reach a superior quality in the cup,” Fioretti says.
“The steam regulated by the system Steam-by-Wire is different from other machines of the same category as it is electronically controlled through its new and improved ergonomic levers.”
The Prima also comes with a mobile app that can be used to set the temperature, see the extraction time, and program the steam and hot water. The user can also verify the machines' performance, turn it on and off, and set the energy-saving mode.
Moreover, the app can also create recipes, share them, or set those recipes proposed by the users' dedicated roastery or barista. These can be accessed through the Cloud Recipe section of the Victoria Arduino app.
Starting 19 September, the Eagle One Prima will be available from the Victoria Arduino Experience Labs in Jakarta, London, Shanghai, Sydney, and the Simonelli Group offices in Seattle and Singapore.
From 28 September to 10 October, Victoria Arduino and Prima will be partners of the Milano Design City, an urban exhibition dedicated to design, interpreted as cultural and innovative, with a core focus on sustainability.
Prima will be a protagonist in the Milano Design City at the Cappellini showroom situated in via Santa Cecilia 4 and at the Marangoni Institute in via Cerva 24. The machines will be presented in a unique and special embellished environment, respectively.
Also, the boutique Cafezal, an excellent roastery and coffee shop found in via Solferino 27, will offer its clientele a relaxed coffee experience using Prima. The machine will again partner with the event Designer's week 2020, promoted by the Interni magazine during the Milano Design City.
