Wega Macchine per Caffè has partnered with the International Ski Federation (FIS) Alpine Junior World Ski Championships, held in Val di Fassa, Italy, from 18 to 27 February, 2019. After their partnership at the 2013 Trentino Fiemme Nordic Sky World Championships, the Susegana-based Wega says it has confirmed its vocation for providing quality coffee to the competition ski slopes at internationally important sporting events. Following an agreement with the organising committee, Wega coffee machines will be stationed at various points around the event. Wega has two machines in the hospitality areas adjacent to the competition venues, at the Passo San Pellegrino’s La Volata slope and at the Pozza di Fassa’s Aloch slope. A third machine is serving the VIP area at the Aloch competition venue’s pavilion. Two WegaConcept units will be in operation at the event. Wega says these machines can cater to the high work flows that will have to be dealt with at the Val di Fassa World Championships The VIP area will feature a Mininova Classic, a machine Wega says has great personality that can provide elegance and versatility, adapting to any location. Wega says the FIS under-21 competition, now in its 38th edition, promises to be full of excitement, owing to the presence of more than 500 young skiers from 55 countries.
