The International Coffee Organisation (ICO) reported world coffee exports amounted to 9.11 million bags in July 2012, compared to 7.73 million a year ago. Nevertheless, the ICO noted that the first 10 months of the coffee year have seen exports increase by 1.5 per cent to 90.36 million bags, compared to 89.05 million the same period in the last coffee year. The export of Arabica continues to fall while Robusta is seeing the inverse. In the 12 months ending July 2012, the ICO said that exports of Arabica totalled 65.18 million, compared to 68.12 million bags the year prior. Robusta exports have increased to 40.72 million bags, compared to 37.12 million the year prior.
