World coffee exports amounted to 8.64 million bags in June 2013, compared with 9.56 million in June 2012, according to the Internatioanal Coffee Organisation (ICO). Exports in the first nine months of coffee year 2012-13 have increased by 3.4 per cent to 84.31 million bags compared to 81.51 million bags in the same period in the last coffee year. In the 12 months ending June 2013, exports of Arabica totalled 68.54 million bags compared to 64.67 million bags last year. Robusta exports amounted to 43.84 million bags compared to 40.13 million bags
