Latte art champions from all over the world will take to the stage at World Coffee Event’s Nordic World of Coffee in Gothenburg, Sweden this week, and will do so with Varesina Caffé coffee in their grinders. From 16 – 18 June, the winners of this years national latte art competitions will represent their countries and their cafés when they showcase their skills in front of a live audience. As the official coffee for the World Latte Art Championship, competitors will use Varesina Caffé’s 100 per cent Arabica Silver blend. “It is crucially important that companies from the Italian production chain, such as our coffee roasting business, should have the opportunity to flank professionals from all over the world on their personal growth path,” said Stefano and Paolo Maffina, Varesina Caffè’s Owners, in a statement. “It is an opportunity that fills us with genuine pride.” Visitors to the competition arena will be given the opportunity to sample the championship coffee, or to try Varesina’s full range at stand E9. The competition coffee, Varesina Caffè’s Silver blend, was created from a blend of beans from Central and South America. Stefano and Paolo’s father, Abramo Maffina, founded Varesina Caffé in 1919. The Varesina Caffé warehouse is in Varese, Italy.
