The 2025 edition of specialty coffee tradeshow World of Coffee welcomed nearly 20,000 people to the Palexpo Exhibition and Convention Center in Switzerland from 26 to 28 June.
Run by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the three-day event saw attendees from more than 140 countries take part. With representation from Europe, the United States, Brazil, Colombia, and more, the event is said to be the largest coffee tradeshow in Europe.
During the event, World of Coffee Geneva showcased more than 430 exhibitors, presenting developments and advancements in brewing technology, equipment, and sustainable practices.
The Portrait Country for 2025 was Colombia, as the SCA recognised the country for its commitment to sustainability, support for producers, and globally respected coffee quality. A range of Colombian exhibitors and tastings were on display, highlighting its participation in shaping the future of specialty coffee.
Another highlight of the event was the World Coffee Championships, in which Chen Zhuohao of China was named World Latte Art Champion, Georgius Audrey Teja of Indonesia was named World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion, Chatchalerm (AKA BOSS) of Thailand was named World Cup Taster Champion, and Charles Boyenval of France was named Cezve/Ibrik Champion.
