World of Coffee Warsaw postponed

The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) has announced World of Coffee will be postponed until October in response to the global Covid-19 outbreak.

The event will now take place from 15 to 17 October 2020 at PTAK Warsaw Expo, Poland.

World of Coffee will continue to host the 2020 World Championships for Coffee Roasting, Latte Art, Coffee in Good Spirits, Cup Tasters, and Cezve Ibrik.

“We send a sincere thank you to all of our partners, sponsors, exhibitors, attendees, and volunteers for their patience as we work to adapt and find solutions to the rapidly changing landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Yannis Apostolopoulos, CEO of the SCA, says in a statement.

The news follows confirmation that the Melbourne International Coffee Expo, featuring the 2020 World Barista Championship and World Brewers Cup, has been postponed to 3 to 6 November 2020.

The SCA is reviewing options to postpone the Re:Co Symposium and the Specialty Coffee Expo, both scheduled to take place in Portland, United States of America in April 2020.
