Swiss specialty beverage equipment manufacturer Tone has announced the appointment of Adib Maksoud as the Sales Manager for the company’s Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

“We are very pleased to have Adib with his long-term business experience in this region on board to further develop this exciting market in the Middle East,” says Tone Europe Managing Director Jörg Krahl.

Maksoud brings 23 years of specialised experience in the coffee industry, including 13 years with a multinational company.

He started as a barista and later became the General Manager of a notable distribution company in Lebanon, and held a commercial role with Monin in Saudi Arabia.

A Lebanese native and currently residing in Cyprus, Maksoud’s accomplishments include achieving titles of Master Roaster and Cup Taster, as well as having a role in national and International Barista competitions.

Maksoud’s vision for Tone in the MEA region involves crafting key strategic partnerships, engaging with consumers and businesses, and raising quality and demand for Tone products.

The company says Maksoud’s commitment and passion make him an ideal candidate for propelling Tone’s growth in the MEA region.
