AeroPress unveils stainless-steel reusable filter

AeroPress has debuted a new stainless-steel filter that is reusable and durable, making it travel-friendly, eco-friendly, and sustainable.

The new AeroPress reusable metal filter is the only metal filter designed and made by AeroPress and keeps out grit but allows flavourful oils to pass through for a full-bodied coffee.

In a substantial improvement to other filters currently on the market, the AeroPress reusable filter is made from premium grade 316 stainless steel. This material is much more durable and corrosion resistant than the 304-grade stainless steel used in other filters.

The filter is also made in the USA, unlike many other filters on the market. Its 178-micron hole size is small enough to ensure minimal grit but large enough for easy pressing.

According to AeroPress, because it’s so durable, the AeroPress reusable filter is the perfect brewing companion for traveling and the outdoors. Clean-up requires a quick rinse, though it can also be cleaned on the top rack of the dishwasher.

The AeroPress reusable stainless-steel filter is currently sold on aeropress.com and Amazon.com for $14.95. It will soon be available in specialty coffee shops and gourmet kitchen stores worldwide.
