BibeCoffee is on a mission to set a new standard in the coffee industry, inspiring businesses worldwide to join the data revolution.

In an increasingly data-driven world, even something as timeless as coffee is evolving through technology. One of the leaders of this change is BibeCoffee, a technology company on a mission to empower coffee professionals to monitor, manage, and execute their operations.

Through a combination of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, real-time data insights, and strategic support, BibeCoffee’s monitoring software aims to set a new standard for excellence in the global coffee industry.

Panos Vrettos, BibeCoffee Co-Founder and Chief of Strategy, highlights how its technology can elevate every level of the coffee industry.

“Whether you’re a roaster, chain operator, or manufacturer, BibeCoffee helps you unlock the full potential of your coffee ecosystem and deliver excellence – cup after cup,” he says.

“Data is the new essential ingredient in coffee excellence, and our software provides actionable insights to improve consistency, efficiency, and sustainability.”

From espresso machines to grinders to capsule systems, all forms of traditional equipment can become intelligent and connected devices using the BibeCoffee system. Integrating data-driven technologies into existing equipment, it provides users with continuous visibility and control over brew quality, machine performance, and operational health.

Data to advance BibeCoffee offers a full-scale telemetry ecosystem tailored specifically for the coffee industry. Its features include: IoT telemetry adaptable to a wide range of coffee machines and accessories, either retrofitted or integrated at the manufacturing stage; cloud-based dashboards and smart alerts, providing real-time insights into dosage, extraction, maintenance needs, and machine health; and remote-control diagnostics, which reduce the need for on-site visits and allow for centralised quality assurance.

Using patented telemetry systems to collect data and actively optimise operations, the system is designed to reduce waste and prolong machine life to ensure consistent quality across thousands of locations.

According to Vrettos, BibeCoffee is aiming to be more than a technology vendor and is positioning itself as a strategic partner that helps businesses on their digital transformation journey.

“Our telemetry device can be factory-integrated, enabling manufacturers to produce connected-ready machines from day one. This gives operators instant scalability and accelerates their return on investment,” he says.

“The platform’s cross-compatibility means it supports both plug-and-play and deep integrations across all equipment types.”

While there are many machines on the market with in-built IoT technology, the ability to unify diverse equipment brands under one intelligent platform enables operators to manage entire machine fleets in one place, no matter the model.

Along with this advantage, Vrettos emphasises the company’s positive environmental impact.

“Our system tracks real-time data on energy, water, and carbon dioxide emissions, enabling clients to monitor, measure, and report their environmental impact with accuracy,” he says.

Industry pressures The coffee industry is facing increased pressure to uphold quality while simultaneously reducing costs. Vrettos says telemetry directly addresses these pain points.

“Telemetry aids businesses in a range of areas,” he says.

“It helps with maintaining a consistent customer experience across multiple locations and reducing downtime with predictive maintenance. The systems can be operated remotely, which makes it easy to manage equipment and track KPIs.”

BibeCoffee systems are designed to give coffee machine operators real-time control over their entire equipment fleet, no matter the scale. Vrettos believes the systems and data collection can translate into tangible improvements for business performance and customer satisfaction.

“The system can seamlessly blend into daily operating systems, adding an efficient and accurate layer to a busy café environment,” he says.

“We also offer consultation, data interpretation, and actionable insights tailored to businesses.”

Vrettos highlights how technology is “simply the enabler” and the real strength comes with the after-support service.

“The true value lies in the advanced reporting capabilities and the ongoing support of the BibeCoffee team,” he says.

Real impact The effectiveness of BibeCoffee’s solution is demonstrated in the success stories of its worldwide partners across a range of factions of the industry. Lachlan MacGillivray, Sales and Marketing Director of Matthew Algie in the United Kingdom, says the system has been essential in maintaining quality across its partner’s store network.

“By partnering with BibeCoffee, we’ve been able to offer our customer, Esquires Coffee, innovative tools that provide real-time visibility and control over brewing consistency, helping them uphold their quality standards and enhance the customer experience across every store,” MacGillivray says.

Similarly, in the United Arab Emirates, Ziad El Gharib, Director of Operations at Boncafé, highlights the remote capacities of the systems.

“Working with BibeCoffee has made a real difference in how we manage our equipment fleet. Being able to monitor remotely, detect issues early, and plan maintenance before problems arise has helped us reduce costs and improve response times. Telemetry like this has become essential for providing the level of service our customers expect,” El Gharib says.

BibeCoffee acknowledges that some in the industry may be reluctant to embrace digital solutions, which is often due to perceived complexity or cost. However, Vrettos emphasises this is a common misconception.

“Today’s telemetry tools are accessible, scalable, and designed to fit businesses of all sizes,” he says.

“Even small operators can benefit from a single connected machine, gaining insights that deliver a fast and measurable return on investment.”

BibeCoffee is designed to provide a low-barrier entry point into smarter, data-driven operations.

“We help businesses move forward,” Vrettos says.

“As the coffee world continues to evolve, it’s clear that data will remain at the heart of its most exciting transformations.”
