Buhler is preparing for a significant presence at Interpack this year, taking place from 8 – 14 May in Dusseldorf, Germany. With an exhibition space of over 1200 square metres, Buhler will feature the latest innovations in cocoa, chocolate mass, chocolate moulding, nuts, coffee, grain milling, breakfast cereals and sorting.  This will include new coffee roasting technology, which won’t be revealed until the first day of the event, that will “mark the entry into a new age of coffee processing”, the company said in a statement.
The company hinted that the technology will present a new process innovation for the roasting industry. In the coffee realm, the company will also be showing its RoastMaster 60 air recycling drum roasting system for capacities up to 240 kilograms per hour. In coffee grinding, Buhler will demonstrate how its equipment can achieve precise particle size distribution and bulk density, with the latest generation GrindDefine grinder series. The company has been working to develop a particular expertise in capsules and single-portion coffee products. A highlight of Buhler's site will be the WinCos automation solution for food processors. The technology is a single point of contact for “bean-to-bar” production
. Buhler currently specialises in providing everything from single machines to entire production plants. In chocolate production, Bühler will introduce new compact solutions for lower capacities. In the area of cocoa processing, Bühler will introduce its latest development in cocoa roasting, the Barth-Tornado RSX. The new technology enables higher productivity, efficiency, and flexibility in the roasting process. The shorter cycle times per batch boost throughput of alkalized nibs an average of 20 per cent. In the field of cocoa grinding, Buhler will feature its PreGrind beater blade mill and FineGrind bead mill.
In chocolate mass and compound,
Bühler will feature its DoMiReCo process (Dosing-Mixing-Refining-Conching).
New highlights in chocolate mass and compound production include the SmartChoc and MicroFactory systems, demonstrate how companies with small production volumes can benefit from Bühler’s experience in chocolate processing. The company noted that both solutions are attractively priced.

In chocolate moulding, Bühler will show its new “Compact” series, the ChocoMaster Compact. In nut processing, Bühler will present integrated solutions for processing different kinds of tree and ground nuts, e.g., peanuts, hazelnuts and almonds. Visit Bühler at Interpack 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany At hall 03, stand no. D28 Bühler also invites all its customers to its after-work party at the booth on 8 May at 6pm.
