One of Europe’s largest independent coffee chains, Caffe Nero, will open its first US store in Boston in April. The new coffee house will be located at Millenium Place, in the city’s Downtown Crossing neighbourhood. “We’re looking to bring European coffee house culture to the United States,” said the director of US operations for Caffè Nero, Jay Gentile, in a statement. Caffe Nero currently has more than 650 stores across seven countries.
