Eversys has announced Kamal Bengougam, who has led the Commercial department since 2012, has decided to leave the company at year end for personal reasons. He will remain in an advisory role with a focus on Eversys United Kingdom and Ireland, in the short-term.

“This chapter of my life has been amazing. To build what we did with this incredible team will keep me smiling for the rest of my days. I am extremely grateful and humbled to have been a part of this adventure where I have had the opportunity to meet great people, friends from all over the coffee world. I leave Eversys in very competent hands and with a positive future ahead,” says Bengougam.

Christian Haueter, who currently works as Eversys’ Commercial Director, will take over all the duties and reporting lines from Bengougam. According to Eversys, the combination of his experience, culture, and drive makes him the ideal fit for this role.

“The Eversys team is at another inflection point in its fascinating growth journey. In anticipation of the several exciting new projects and challenges, I am delighted to lead the next chapter of commercial development at Eversys,” says Haueter.

This change was planned and prepared well ahead and is part of the organisational development of the Eversys Group in view of the further ambitious growth plans.

“First, I would like to thank Kamal for his tremendous work and contribution in building up Eversys from the early days as a start-up company to what it has become today. The Eversys team wishes him well for the next phase in his life and will always remember thankfully his important role in the history of our company,” says Eversys CEO Martin Strehl.

“Second, I would like to congratulate Christian on his promotion to Group Commercial Director and wish him a lot of success and satisfaction in this important position.”
