For the first time, all three of Cimbali Group’s brands – LaCimbali, Faema, and Slayer – will be featured together at Porto Coffee Week 2024.

This year marks the group’s third appearance at Portugal’s largest specialty coffee event, taking place from 1 to 6 October.

The festival, which draws around 1000 visitors and over 100 participants, features unlimited tastings, hands-on workshops, more than 20 talks from national and international coffee experts, equipment exhibitions, barista competitions, and dedicated food and lounge areas for coffee enthusiasts to connect.

From Tuesday to Thursday, workshops take place in cafés, restaurants, and schools, while Friday to Sunday will bring the Coffee Market – Portugal’s biggest specialty coffee gathering.

Cimbali Group’s three brands on display

  • LaCimbali at the Coffee Market: visitors can explore the Cimbali M40 and M200 machines at the Coffee Market, from 4 to 6 October.
  • Faema at the Latte Art Workshops: on 2 October, the Explore Vaporization and Latte Art Designs workshop featured two Faema President GTI machines, while the Swans and Spirals: Mastering Advanced Latte Art Techniques workshop featured the Faemina machines.
  • Slayer Espresso in the Zero Waste Latte Art Throwdown: during the Zero Waste Latte Art Throwdown competition on 2 October at Apuro, two Slayer 1-group espresso machines were used by participants to demonstrate their “artistic prowess” while minimising waste.

Cimbali Group’s brands will also be featured at the Coffee Market from 4 to 6 October, including 10 Faemina machines to create a roasters’ village, a Slayer Brew Bar, and LaCimbali M40/M200 at the Cimbali stand.

“Porto Coffee Week 2024 promises to be a hub for both industry experts and coffee lovers. With its comprehensive line-up of events, workshops, and machine showcases, Cimbali Group is excited to contribute to the growth of coffee culture in Portugal,” the company said in a statement.
