International smart coffee shop chain Click Coffee has launched its first smart coffee concept stores in the UAE, allowing customers to place orders and have their coffee prepared without any human involvement.
“Coffee drinking traditions in the UAE have always been an important part of culture in the Middle East, and we are excited to see Click Coffee becoming a part of this vibrant culture by embracing technological advancement and top-quality product for the local and international customers,” says Click Coffee CEO Alexander Khvastunov.
The new stores will allow consumers to place orders using an application currently adjusted for UAE customers with an intuitive interface or using a digital terminal.
Customers can choose among dozens of drinks, with customisation options including espresso strength, type of milk, syrup flavour, and temperature of their drink.
The first branches will be located at the headquarters of the telecommunications company etisalat by e& and at Nakheel Sales Office in Dubai. Click Coffee will be equipped with Eversys SA Enigma coffee machines which are controlled and managed by robotics and AI technology. The smart coffee stations are capable of preparing 80 to 100 beverages per hour.
Click Coffee is focused on expanding its presence within the UAE, and plans to expand into neighbouring states of the whole MENA region.
The smart coffee shop chain plans to incorporate a complete coffee shop experience including food sales and seating facilities, meaning the new locations will be staffed.
