Brazil‘s first estimate for coffee production in 2026 is pointing to 66.2 million processed bags – an increase of 17.1 per cent compared to the volume recorded in the previous year’s cycle, according to the latest forecast by the Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (CONAB).
For Arabica coffee production, CONAB expects a harvest of 44.1 million bags in the current crop season – a 23.3 per cent increase over the previous cycle.
The company says this increase is attributed to factors such as growth in production areas and more favourable weather conditions.
This increase is also expected to translate to Conilon, with Conab anticipating a crop of 22.1 million bags, a 6.4 per cent increase over the 2025 production.
The estimates follow a big year for Brazilian coffee exports, which amounted to US$16.1 billion in 2025 – a new record.
