Chinese coffee chain Cotti Coffee has launched in the United Kingdom with a pair of flagship locations in London.

Its first location, on Middlesex Street on the eastern edge of the City of London, opened its doors on 4 February.

The second location, on Camden High Street, will open on Friday February 6.

Cotti’s expansion into the United Kingdom follows a string of moves into new European markets in 2025 in France, Germany, and Spain, with some of its first outlets in the region established in major European cities like Paris, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Barcelona, and Madrid.

Further plans for European expansion include markets like Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and the Netherlands.

Since being established in 2022 by a pair of former Luckin Coffee executives, Lu Zhengyao and Qian Zhiya, it has embarked on rapid growth both within China and around the world.

Now, it claims to operate more than 18,000 stores globally in 33 different countries.

Other recent non-European markets Cotti has recently launched in include Australia and Vietnam.
