Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) has announced its selection of US software firm Eximware Inc. as its strategic technology partner. CQI, which is a leading non-profit organisation working internationally to improve the quality of coffee and the lives of people who produce it, provides training and technical assistance to all participants throughout the coffee supply chain to increase the value, volume, and sustainability of high quality coffee. Working with a multitude of local coffee programs, governments, and organisations across the globe, CQI has built a common language of quality in the industry. Executive Director of CQI, David Roche, says: “The Eximware team was selected because of their knowledge and expertise of the commodity trade in general and the coffee industry in particular. Eximware has an excellent reputation as a trusted business partner to some of the best-known and regarded entities in the trade.  We recognised a natural synergy between our two organizations and are extremely pleased with our partnership.” At the heart of CQI’s operation is its Q Coffee System. In its role as a strategic partner, Eximware is committed to manage, maintain, and enhance the technology behind the system through custom development and by providing an unparalleled level of service, enabling CQI to efficiently manage its relationships with the Q Grader community and all other players within the Q Coffee System. “For over 16 years, we have partnered with many participants in the commodity value chain- exporters, importers, and processors.  It was therefore a natural fit to provide our technology and commodity expertise to such a highly-regarded organisation as CQI.  We look forward to helping CQI fully leverage technology to advance its core mission,” says CEO of Eximware, Andy Dimitri.
