Fairtrade International has announced it is looking for a replacement for outgoing CEO Harriet Lamb, who is leaving to take up the role of CEO at International Alert, Europe’s largest peacebuilding organization. The CEO will lead a newly-established Global Leadership Team as well as being responsible for turning “the vision of Fairtrade into a reality.” “We’re looking for an exceptional person who combines leadership, strategic vision, experience and a great sense of humour!” says Fairtrade International COO Greg Brown. “This is a great opportunity to lead a globally-recognised organisation and help it deliver real impact for millions of farmers and workers world-wide.” Lamb leaves on November 6 and begins her new job with International Alert on November 16.
