Flexicon has marked its 40-year anniversary with the completion of a 8500 square meter building, doubling the size of its United States headquarters. “With walls, roof and floor now complete, and mechanical systems underway, we are on track to fully occupy the space by March of this year,” said David Gill, Flexicon President, in a statement. Flexicon’s new facility doubles the size of its Steel Forming, Welding, Grinding and Polishing as well as the Blasting and Painting Departments. The Electrical Controls Department will expand four-fold and the Assembly Department will be eight-times larger.

“Doubling the size of our US headquarters is a fitting way to mark Flexicon's anniversary and exponential growth,” said Gill, in the statement. William Gill founded the company, which began manufacturing flexible screw conveyors. The company currently holds 36 patents in 13 countries and has operations in the UK, Australia, South Africa, Chile and Singapore.
