Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) announced on 10 July two new Brew Over Ice beverages: The Original Donut Shop Coffee Sweet & Creamy Iced Coffee K-Cup packs, and the first ever iced fruit brew in a K-Cup pack, Vitamin Burst. “These new varieties are a revolutionary advancement in the choices we can offer our customers,” said Ross Fenderson, Senior Brand Manager for Brew Over Ice, in a GMCR statement. “Both Sweet & Creamy Iced Coffee and Vitamin Burst varieties offer entirely new ways to enjoy your Keurig brewer.” GMCR noted that Vitamin Burst K-Cup packs contain fruit that is gently dried to retain its active ingredients, and the Keurig brewer unlocks the fruit’s power when brewed over ice. Each 8-oz. serving of Vitamin Burst is naturally sweetened, caffeine-free, contains no artificial colors or flavors, and is high in antioxidant vitamin C. Vitamin Burst is currently available in two fruit flavors: Strawberry Pomegranate and Acai Berry. “We’re thrilled to continue expanding our beverage options beyond coffee, tea, and hot cocoa,” said Fenderson. “This innovative, first-ever iced fruit brew combats ‘water boredom’ and provides a refreshing blend of fruit flavors.”
