Groupe SEB has confirmed a rating of 82 out of 100 in the 2025 EcoVadis ratings, an improvement of four points compared to the company’s score secured in 2023.

EcoVadis is a software as a service company that provides sustainability ratings to ensure clarity and transparency behind how trading partners operate. Scores reflect the quality of a company’s sustainability management system at the time of assessment, with eligibility criteria for the awarding of medals and badges also reviewed periodically.

Groupe SEB’s score of 82 has seen it secure a gold medal, meaning it is in the top five per cent of companies reviewed.

Sustainability Manager at SEB Professional Beverage, Ayca Ozol, says the recognition underscores the value Groupe SEB places on sustainability.

“Our higher score and renewed position at the top of the Gold-rated companies send a clear signal to our customers, partners, and all stakeholders: this evolution reflects a strengthened performance and confirms the robustness of our sustainability commitments,” says Ozol.

“More than ever, we are a key partner helping our customers achieve their own ESG goals with confidence and transparency. It also confirms the impact of our 2024–2030 ESG roadmap, with significant improvements in key areas such as ethics, human rights, and responsible sourcing.”

In addition to the renewed EcoVadis rating, Groupe SEB’s 2050 net zero targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2024, it was awarded an ‘A–’ in the ‘Climate’ and ‘Water Management’ categories of the 2025 CDP ratings, and was upgraded to an ‘A’ in the MSCI ESG ratings in August 2025.
