Host, the International Hospitality Exhibition, has revealed the names of a number of leading espresso machine manufacturers exhibiting at Milan, Italy from 23 – 27 October. Cimbali, Nuova Simonelli, Rancilio Group, Sanremo and Wega are among the names, which will have equipment on display at the event. The expo will also host a range of coffee companies, including Illycaffè, Italcaffè, Café Novell, Caffè Cagliari, Rio’s and Zicaffè. “Our coffee roasteries are doing an excellent job in promoting Italian coffee abroad, by proposing their own formats and by promoting roasted coffee,” said Patrick Hoffer, President of the Italian Coffee Committee, in a statement. One of Europe’s largest exhibitions for the hospitality industry, Host is made up of twelve halls, focusing on the latest in coffee, food and technology trends. Host is partnering with the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe to provide training on topics including Barista Skills, Green and Sensory beans, as well as Latte and Espresso making. Host will run concurrently with Expo Milano, which is happening for six month in Italy from 1 May – 31 October. The expo’s theme for 2015 is 'Feeding the planet, energy for life' – offering countries the opportunity to showcase their ideas for providing food for all people on Earth. Expo Milano 2015 is made up of nine themes, areas that unite countries under a single product sector; one will be dedicated to coffee.
