For the first time since 2023, the world’s largest HoReCa trade show is back in action in 2025, with the return of the World Barista Championship (WBC) headlining what is expected to be another incredible merging of the world’s hospitality sector.
The WBC returns to Milan for the first time since 2021, where it was won by Colombia’s Diego Campos ahead of United States representative Andrea Allen and Australia’s Hugh Kelly.
More than 50 of the world’s most creative and talented baristas will take to innovative Experience Bar over five days, allowing viewers a 360-degree exploration of the competition.
Other dedicated coffee events at this year’s show include the Cafeteria Grand Prix 2025, Latte Art Grading System Battles, and the Moka Challenge, as well as the new edition of Coffee Addition, where Gianni Cocco will guide participants through coffee tastings of new hybridisations.
This year’s edition of the tradeshow also sees the launch of ‘Host Talks – Beyond the Cup’, a series of talks aimed at bringing together stakeholders, entrepreneurs, academics, and industry specialists to cover an overview of contemporary coffee.
Finally, the layout of the immense Fiera Milano has been redesigned for this year’s show to ensure as smooth an experience as possible, with the integration of two-level halls helping guide visitors through the Coffee-Tea, Bar-Coffee-Machines-Vending aisles more effectively.
Much of the coffee industry will be present in halls 8-12 and 16-20. With more than 1700 exhibitors attending the show and close to 200,000 visitors expected, 2025 looms as yet another incredible Host Milano experience.
Host Milano 2025 will run from 17-21 October at the Fiera Milano.
