Swedish coffee roaster Löfbergs has appointed Trina Törnqvist to the newly created position of Chief International Business Officer, effective 13 January 2025.

Törnqvist brings more than 20 years of experience in international business within the coffee industry.

“We see significant potential to grow further by securing larger international contracts and entering new markets. I’m thrilled to welcome Trina Törnqvist, who brings extensive expertise in this area, to lead our efforts,” says Anders Fredriksson, CEO of Löfbergs.

Törnqvist has held several senior positions in the coffee sector since 2004, with a focus on internationalisation. Most recently, she served as Head of International Business Development and Export Manager at Meira/Segafredo. Prior to that, she was responsible for international business development at Paulig.

“I have followed Löfbergs from afar over the years and joining the company is a dream opportunity. I’m excited to build a team that contributes to continued international growth,” says Törnqvist.

“Löfbergs is a value-driven company and a sustainability pioneer with a strong portfolio of products and services. This gives us a fantastic foundation to strengthen the brand and reach even more customers and consumers.”

Founded in 1906 in Karlstad, Sweden, Löfbergs is one of the largest family-owned coffee roasters in the Nordic region. The company began exporting coffee in 1993 and, today, every second cup of Löfbergs coffee is sold outside of Sweden. Löfbergs operates its own subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the UK.
